Parish base way of welcoming the Divine Mercy Pilgrim Image
1. The parishoners will wait at the entrance of the church with their palm branch and candles.
2. A welcome mass is offered for the arrival of the Image as a sign of thanks giving.
3. There will be an overnight prayer with confession infront of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
4. In the hour prior to departure of the image, a departure mass is said to thank God for the visit.
5. Procession around the Parish bounderies, and veneration of the image. Here people falls in line to view the image of Jesus in close range, but stricktly the Image is NOT FOR TOUCHING.
Barangay Chapel visit Guide.
1. The settlers of the barangay will wait at the entrance of the chapel with their palm branch and candles.
2, A K.P.(Katilingbanon sa Pag-ampo) is offered for the arrival of the image as a sign of thanks giving.
3. There will be an overnight prayer and film showing about the apparition of Jesus to Saint Faustina to start the devotion of the Divine Mercy.
4. House visitation of the image. 15 mins. only per house.
5. Enthronement of the Image of the Divine Mercy for the Chapel
6. Departure of the Pilgrim Image of the Divine Mercy

ThePilgrim Image of the Divne Mercy



The Pilgrim Image of the Divine Mercy is a a gift of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy from Krakow Poland to Jeffrey D. Lumbay on October 14, 2004. The Image took its first pilgrimage in 2005 at Cotabato City and Midsayap Cotabato, where the Image was welcome with candle early 2:00 A.M. Children line up with candles to guide the path of the miraculous Image.
The Visit include a film showing on the life of St. Faustina and the apparition of Jesus to her.
Miracles of cure and visions were reported as and is well documented. The best miracle ever was during the visit of the pilgrim image of the Divine Mercy to Midsayap, Cotabato where many received healing, criple walked and other great manifestations.
There are two pilgrim image of the Divine mercy. 1 is a copy of the first Image of the Divine Mercy as seen on the picture. the 2nd picture is the One now venerated in the Chapel where the Body of St. Faustina rest. the Picture in the right was the original first version of the Divine mercy painted under the guidance of Saint Faustina.
To schedule a visit of the Pilgrim Image of the Divine Mercy here are the requirments
1. If Parish visit- Parish Priest letter of request
2. If House visit- Parish Priest Permit
3. For Diocesan visit- Bishop's permit.
The donations of the Pilgrim image will be divided, one for the parish/Diocese and the other for the Pilgrim Image program, which will again be divided in two to give the convent of the Sisters a share for any renovation of the Saint's cell where Jesus appeared.
The Pilgrim Image program include the printing of Devotional materials and for the trip of the image .
